Apple service is great!
My son had troubles with his iPod--it was a re-furb unit and he had owned it about eight months. We contacted Apple through their online service site and they overnighted us a box via DHL to ship the iPod to them in. The box was then picked up by DHL and overnighted to Apple. Once Apple had the iPod, they sent us a brand spaniking new iPod which was delivered overnight by DHL. Because of the holiday weekend, it wasn't delivered until January 2, but I was truly amazed at the level of service provided by Apple. I have considered getting an mp3 player for myself, and have looked at other manufacturers besides Apple because they seem to be less expensive than the iPods. However, I have seen that the post-sale service by Apple to support their product when things go wrong, is a strong reason to choose an Apple product over other brands.
